FACTS AND FIGURES of agriculture in the Voronezh region

State support 2018 for beef cattle breeding will be maintained at 19% ($25.1m), crop farming support will be raised by 23% ($30.6m), whereas livestock breeding and milk farming will receive 25,5% more ($32.4m). Support for small business patterns is intended to be boosted from 2.7 to 4.9% ($3.4m up to $6.3m), technical modernisation — from 0.7 up to 1.4% ($900k to $1.8m)

As of 1 November, the region has produced agriculture totalling $2.9bn, which accounts for 104.6% of the same period in 2016

Regional agriculture obtained $99m from federal budget and > $27m from the regional budget in 2017

40% is the growth of pig headcount in the region in 2017. As of late September 2017, Voronezh region counted a total of $19k pig heads

Meat yield in 2017 grew by 9%, milk output – by 7%, if compared to 2016

Voronezh region is a leader in grain, sugar beet and sunflower production
