New greenhouse complex will be launched in Kazakhstan

The launch of one more greenhouse complex is expected in Kazakhstan. The construction of “Greenhouse Kazakhstan” in Aktyubinsky region on the territory of 9.5 ha is completed. The facility is among the biggest projects financed by the line of National Holding “KazAgro”. The official commissioning is scheduled for April of this year. Overall cost of the complex is 4.9 billion tenge, including 3.4 billion tenge invested by “KazAgroFinance”, the company which is a part of the Holding.

Implementation of the project with the capacity of up to 5700 tonnes per year, will provide new work places in the region, boost labour productivity, as well as increase the share of competitive fruit and vegetables in the domestic market.

Currently, main building and assembly works are completed. Within the framework of the project, all required metal structures are installed, more than 100,000 sq.m. of glass are set, cables and pipes are laid.

It is worth to note, that National Holding “KazAgro” has financed 41 projects for establishment of greenhouses with a total value of 47 billion tenge. 36 greenhouses with the total area of 119 ha and production capacity of 47k tonnes were commissioned. The launch of those projects provided 1464 work places.
