New greenhouses are being constructed in “Yuzhnaya”

According to the media-service of regional administration, the resident of Accelerated Growth Territory “Yuznhaya”, located in the Sakhalin region, initiated the construction of the 4th stage of Teplichny greenhouse complex.

Currently, 6 out of 8 ha are ready. It is expected that the first yield will be harvested by the end of this year. According to the project, the planned yield will amount to 30-60 kg per square meter. In case of supplementary lighting, the yield will exceed 100 kg. The project will provide 80 new work places.

“The introduction of engineering solutions ensures the efficient utilization of thermal power. We expect that after project full commissioning, tax payments will increase by 20%. Greater production and distribution will result in prime cost reduction. Our company is the only company in the Far East, which implemented such a large-scale project for the modernisation of a greenhouse complex. Currently, we are the largest vegetable producer in the federal district”, says Viktor Butkov, Director of Teplichny.

The greenhouses are equipped with modern systems. Teplichny will meet up to 70% of demand in fresh vegetables in Sakhalin. Investor also plans to extend the greenhouse areas for the further production of flowers and berries.
